The Kurzesagt YouTube channel makes one animated video a month explaining things like “evolution, time, space, global energy or our existence in this strange universe.” They describe themselves as a team of “designers, journalists and musicians who want to make science look beautiful. Because it is beautiful.”
We’d say they have succeeded in that endeavor and their latest video, Everything You Need to Know About Planet Earth is no exception. In a succinct and fun way, Kurzesagt takes us on a beautiful journey explaining earth’s creation, the oceans, the layers of earth, our atmosphere, and more.
By the way, they tell us that Kurzgesagt means “in a nutshell” in German.
